The Student Leadership Team is having a free Fathers' Day Pancake Breakfast on Friday, June 14. Everyone is welcome. The SLT is also participating in "We Create Change." This is an initiative through Free the Children to have the largest penny drive in Canadian history. As the penny goes out of circulation, donate pennies to support clean water projects in our Adopt a Village communities around the world. Please send your pennies to the school to participate in this very worthy cause.
This year's Awards Day will be held the afternoon of June 18th. This will also be a formal dress-up day for students.
Congratulations to all the athletes who competed in the District Meet in Weyburn last week. Renae Faford (400 meter) and Kyle Sargent (400m and 800m) are both advancing to Provincials to represent GF Kells and the Southeast District. Good luck to both of them!
Now that June is here, grade 10-12 students should start planning for final exams by booking time off work. Finals will be written from Friday, June 21, until Wed. June 26. The specific schedule will be coming out soon.
