At the Provincial and National Conferences the Student Leadership Team made many new friends, learned a lot about leadership, and discovered many great ideas to make GF Kells and Carlyle even better.
The Cross Country Team has started practising. Practices are Mon. to Fri. after school. Runners choose which days they can make it. They train 3-4 times a week, sometimes around town and sometimes in the hills north of town. The Division Meet is in Carnduff on Wednesday, Oct. 2, 2013. Grade 9-12 athletes who qualify by finishing in the top ten of their category, advance to Provincials in Loon Lake (North of North Battleford) on Oct. 12.
Friday, September 27, is the last day for senior students to withdraw from classes.
There is no school on Monday, Sept. 30, due to a Staff Development Day.
