Congratulations to the Senior Girls Volleyball Team who won their home tournament on the weekend. The girls also won gold in the Maryfield tournament the previous weekend. They are having a great season!
The School Community Council and GFK are participating in the Me to We "We Scare Hunger" campaign. We are hoping to have many students dress up this year and collect food bank items rather than treats. Student Leadership Team Report: This week in SLT we talked about Halloween activities. There will be several different activities held during the lunch hour on Halloween, including pumpkin carving, bobbing for "apples," and the "Body Part Challenge." Dress up for Halloween! There will be prizes for costumes. The categories are the scariest, funniest, fanciest, most original, and traditional.
Mrs. Biberdorf and her Home Economics class would appreciate any used tape measures and scrap fabric for her classes. If you have any around your place and you would like to donate them to GFK please contact Mrs. Biberdorf.

The school is looking for games to be used within the Workplace and Apprenticeship 10, 20, and 30 courses. They are to be used in outcomes within the courses to help develop spatial reasoning, numerical reasoning and logical reasoning. If you have any of the following games that your family has outgrown or is willing to donate to the school, we would really appreciate it. Just bring them in to the office! Games we are looking for are: Rubik's Cube, Blokus, chess, checkers, backgammon, Mastermind, Connect Four, Battleship, Cathedral World, Yahtzee, cribbage, Reverse. Thanks so much!
