A Natural Health and Healing Expo will be held on July 7 and 8 at Memorial Hall in Carlyle. The event begins early at 10 a.m each day, and goes till supper time.

The Expo is said to offer a wide range of products and services in a non-judgmental and non-competitive environment. The public can come and feel safe and supported in exploring options that might work for them.

"The Natural Health & Healing Expo is different from typical trades shows/expos in that our focus is on a person's total well-being," explained Chaelynn Slykhuis, organizer of the Carlyle event. "That meaning is physically, mentally, emotionally, and spiritually."

The event will give people the opportunity to receive information, have mini-sessions or readings, listen to presentations, shop for products, eat delicious healthy foods and meet new people.

"Most often I hear comments at these Expos such as, "wow, it feels so good here", "I have been here for hours and I really did not intend to" people feel there is so much to do, they love the energy and feel happy just hanging around," Slykhuis said.

The Natural Health & Healing Expo all started three years ago in Medicine Hat, Alberta, however, because of the great success of this expo, people have been requesting to have them set up in other towns. It now includes interest in over a dozen communities throughout Southern Alberta and Saskatchewan, with more showing interest each year

The Expo is meant to promote the concept of total well-being, while offering it's visitors something to think about.

"The 4 other Expos held so far this year were considered a huge success by both vendors and the public, with several stating; "it was so much better than they expected and area already excited about next year's expo and we expect this one and all the fall ones to be no different," Slykhuis happily stated.

It will also give the public awareness of the alternative health options that are available in Canada that can possibly reduce or eliminate the need for more intrusive options such as surgery or prescription drugs.

"I am so excited to have the privilege of Chris Lee taking part in our Expo. He travels both nationally and internationally to bring his special gift of helping people access information from past lives to assist them in their present life," explained Slykhuis. "Chris will be giving a special presentation on Saturday at 1:00 pm entitled "Journey into Past Lives" and again on Sunday at 1:00 pm, you won't want to miss our own prairie girl, Tekeyla Friday, who is an Angelic Medium Practitioner."
