The Weyburn Fire Department responded to a structure fire on February 2.
Fire crews responded to a house fire at 234 Fifth Street NE at 6:15 p.m. The fire was contained to a portion of the house's hallway which led into a bedroom and extended up into the attic area.
Fire crews had the fire under control within 20 minutes, although they remained on scene for two hours performing salvage and overhaul operations.
One fire fighter sustained minor injuries during the operation and was treated by Weyburn EMS staff and released on the scene.
Damage estimates at this time are unavailable and the cause of the fire is under investigation by fire officials. No one was home at the time of the fire.
