Jordan Francis will hit the road this summer and could stop in your town!

Some of the teens or parents in town probably know Jordan Francis as Barron James from the Jonas Brothers Camp Rock and Camp Rock 2, or maybe you saw him on the Jonas Brothers world tour. Either way Jordan is quite the Canadian teen heartthrob, and surprisingly down to earth.

"I enjoyed doing so many things as a child," explained Jordan. "When I was younger it was a lot of arts and training. I also played some football and basketball because my dad was a ref."

The Toronto born, 21-year-old has a large list of other accomplishes. These include, but are not limited to, the Broadway role of Young Simba in Disney's The Lion King, being awarded the title of Choreographer of the Year at the IPD showcase, and three additional choreographerawards and four successful seasons voicing Jamie James in Carl Squared.

"I grew up in Toronto Canada but I was training a lot in other places. I had the opportunity to spend a few months in New York and a few in L.A"

When asking Jordan what advice he had for small town kids with big dreams, his answer was very sincere.

"The sky is the limit. At the end of the day it is your dream, your life. Just get some training and perfect your craft. Take constructive criticism, not negative criticism."

This summer the CBC will be giving you and your town the chance to win his attention, and bring him to your town.

Tell CBC what makes Carlyle and surrounding areas interesting, unique or amazing and Jordan just might pick this town for one of his many stops on Cross Country Fun Hunt.

Cross Country Fun Hunt and CBC want you to create a video or post photos about your hometown, nominate an attraction or landmark that is unique to your town, or even a local festival or special day for Jordan to visit. Hurry and post them to www.funhunt.ca, as time is running out.

ThroughoutJuly and August 2012, Jordan and the Fun Hunt crew will hit the road for the big cross country road trip, with stops to create webisodes at each town with the most votes.

Cross Country Fun Hunt will be turned into a television series airing on CBC Saturday mornings this fall! From a list of finalists, viewers will be asked to vote on their favorite fun town. The town with the highest number of votes will get a live concert with Jordan and special guests, and will be aired as the Cross Country Fun Hunt grand finale!

"Oh man, I am looking forward to seeing all the videos come in. I think it's so important for people to get involved," he said. "It will show other kids' places and towns they never would have seen otherwise. They will get to see fun interesting things all around the country. It's going to be great. I am so excited. Right now I am composing the soundtrack for the show. I've got a ballad, reggae, some upbeat dance tracks, everything!""
