The Estevan Police Service has announced that an investigation into an incident at the Motley Crue concert Saturday night is ongoing.

Late in the performance a 40-year-old man from Manor managed to get by security, ran onto the stage and knocked over guitarist Mick Marrs. He then proceeded towards lead singer Vince Neil but was tackled by security before he could reach him.

Marrs, who suffers from a chronic medical condition, was not injured. He did report on his personal Twitter feed that his bodyguard suffered two broken ribs after falling from the stage. Motley Crue briefly left the stage after the incident but returned to perform two more songs.

After he was escorted off the stage the Manor resident was turned over to Estevan police who subsequently transferred him to their cells.

According to a press release no charges have been laid as of Monday morning and the investigation will continue.
