Fire investigators combed through the scene of a devastating fire at a residence on Prairie Avenue in Weyburn, looking for any clues about the causes of the blaze.
Police arrived first on the scene around 2 a.m. late Saturday night with the porch of the house fully ablaze, and were shortly followed by the Weyburn Fire Department, who quickly had the fire under control.
The fire quickly spread to the truck adjacent to the house, and then got into the eaves and attic of the house, causing heavy damage to both the house and truck.
One person was in the house when the fire began, and he was safely evacuated without any injury.
Police and the fire department continue their investigation, and will not release any details of their findings until the investigation is complete.
