Khedive (cpd) - Brooklyn Weisgerber, daughter of Mile and Sharlynn Weisgerber, played on the Swift Current hockey team last winter. She made it to the Saskatchewan top 42 female hockey tryouts. Tryouts will continue in August at Wilcox, with the Saskatchewan under 18 female team being chosen from this camp. Brooklyn is one of the top six goaltenders in Saskatchewan.
Sharlynn Weisgerber and family attended and family attended centennial celebrations held Friday to Sunday in Wiseton, Sask.

Typical July weather has arrives, along with the month. Folks are enjoying the pools and all that goes along with warm sunny days. There have been a few light showers. However, with the high temperatures, rain will be needed.
The countryside is very green, as grass and crops are luscious and trees are very healthy. Splashes of bright yellow from the canola crops coming into bloom make the country side beautiful.
