Lake Alma couple takes in two plays

Lake Alma (cpd) - Ken and Wanda Johnson spent Oct. 18 to 20 at their daughter, Joanne's. Wanda and Pat Petersen took in "Bloom" and "The Script" put on by Crocus 80 at the T.C. Douglas Performing Arts Centre on Oct.



Lake Alma (cpd) - Ken and Wanda Johnson spent Oct. 18 to 20 at their daughter, Joanne's. Wanda and Pat Petersen took in "Bloom" and "The Script" put on by Crocus 80 at the T.C. Douglas Performing Arts Centre on Oct. 18 while Ken visited with Dale Petersen. Dale underwent hip replacement surgery in Regina earlier and is recuperating. The Johnsons also visited with Clare and Ida Offet on the 20th.

Wanda Johnson, Elaine Roysum and Darlene Lund joined Mabel Larsen, Frieda Lilljord, Avis Field, Jeanette Whitteron, Corine Pindus, Darlene LaFoy and Pat Petersen of Weyburn at the Can Am Country Inn at Oungre for supper on Oct. 16. It was a late get-together to celebrate birthdays that took place over the summer.

Allan Buckner arrived home on Oct. 12 following surgery in Saskatoon.

Lance and Deb Petersen's new trailer is parked on the lot where Marie Throssell's house used to be before it was moved out of Lake Alma.

Clare and Ida Offet traveled to Regina on Oct. 18 where they were supper guests with her sister, Marie and Don Jacobson. A special guest was the ladies' cousin, Father Jim Ratcliffe of Nelson, B.C. who was in the city for a conference at Holy Child Parish Catholic Church on Friday and Saturday. Their son Kevin and Diane Glennie were also supper guests. Suzanne Brown and Craig and Charmaine Offet joined later for a short visit. On Saturday after the conference Father Jim traveled to Weyburn where he visited with the Woodards and other relatives. He returned to Nelson via plane on Monday. The Offets returned to Weyburn on Friday.

Clare and Ida Offet spent from Oct. 25 to 27 in Moosomin with Deena Offet and grandkids and visited with Curtis in the Integrated Health Care facility there.
