Lake Alma (cpd) - Ken and Wanda Johnson attended the monthly "Birthday Party" at Tatagwa View Nursing Home in Weyburn the afternoon of Aug. 30. Ken's mother, Josie Johnson, a resident there, celebrated her 100th birthday earlier in the month. They then traveled on to Saskatoon where they attended the wedding of Jon Stushnoff and Holly Senko at the Holy Family Cathedral with the reception and dance being held at Sutherland Hall. Before leaving Saskatoon on Sunday they went out for breakfast with their niece, Lyndsay Larsen and Nick Potyra and enjoyed a visit. They returned home that evening.

Clare and Ida Offet traveled to White Bear on Aug. 31 where they met Suzanne and Rick Brown of Rocanville and together they went to Pam and Barry Brown's cabin where they were joined by Brenda and Steve Clemmenson of Regina, who were holidaying at White Bear, and had a visit and birthday cake to celebrate Suzanne's Birthday which had been on Aug. 29. A very enjoyable afternoon was spent. Suzanne and Rick were camping in their motor home at Kenosee Lake for the long weekend.

Lunch will be provided at the 100th anniversary of the Beaubier Lutheran Church on Sept. 15, and it is not potluck as stated in this column last week. Sorry for the confusion.
