This Sunday will be your last chance to take in the Red Market Barn and Flea Market. The barn, located five kilometres north of Kenosee on highway 9, is open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sundays.
The Red Market Barn Flea Market has been in operation for more than 30 years, with its' current owners operating it since 2002. With 32 outside stalls and 28 inside vendors, the offerings are plenty. The diversity of vendors ensures that there is something for everyone ranging from antiques and collectibles, woodworking, fresh fruit and vegetables, jewellery, Tupperware, honey, homemade baking, concessions and much, much more.
In addition to the vendors has been an abundance of live music and entertainment. Performers have included K.O. & Friends, Steven Palmer, Susan Shepherd & Ross Le Blanc, Southern Country, Zabava, and The Leonards. The last performance of the season will be Southern Country.
Since its opening on July 3, the market has seen its fair share of visitors over the past two months. With this Sunday being the markets last of the season, it is sure to be filled with people. Make sure you arrive early to ensure you get that special baking treat that you oh-so-love or to purchase the jam that will be placed on the kitchen table for breakfasts throughout the year.
