The Candian Mental Health Association of Weyburn is holding their 2014 Mayor's Luncheon on Tuesday, May 6 at 11:30 a.m. at McKenna Hall.
The luncheon theme is women's mental health: using the internet to improve wellbeing, an introduction to the online therapy unit with guest speaker Dr. Heather Hajistavropoulos.
Dr. Hajistavropoulos is a professor of psychology and director of clinical training at the University of Regina. In 2010 she founded the Online Therapy Unit for Service Education and Research. This unit addresses barriers to receiving treatment for depression and anxiety in Saskatchewan.
Tickets for the Mayor's Luncheon are $20 per person or $150 for a table of eight.
