Weyburn Triple C Centre Corp and the Weyburn & District Hospital Foundation will be hosting a Giving Seminar entitled, "Making Tax-effective Donations" on Saturday, June 23 from 2:00 to 3:00 p.m. at the Legion.
During the event, an official presentation of a $1 million donation to the Triple C Centre will be made, as will the announcement of the name of the new facility.
It's not too late to register to attend this informative seminar. Special guest speaker Regan Exner, CGA for MNP Taxation Partner in Regina, will provide attendees with correct and up-to-date Canada Revenue Agency information about tax benefits and impacts of donations, such as cash, real property, stocks mineral rights, etc., so that charitable contributions can work for the individual and for the community. Local financial advisors will also be present.
