The band that took sex, drugs and rock n' roll to new heights is coming to Estevan.

It was announced this morning that MÖtley Crüe will play Spectra Place May 4. Canadian band Big Wreck will serve as the opening act.

Comprised of lead singer Vince Neil, bass player Nikki Sixx, drummer Tommy Lee and guitarist Mick Mars, MÖtley Crüe emerged from the Los Angeles rock scene in the early 1980s and became one of the best selling bands in history with over 80 million albums sold. They also became one of the most notorious bands and were known as much for their wild ways as their music.

Although they haven't released a new album since 2008, MÖtley Crüe has retained their popularity and continue to play to sold out venues throughout the world.

They are currently on tour with KISS in Australia and will kick off their largest ever tour of Canada April 20 in Penticton, B.C. In all MÖtley Crüe will hit 18 cities on the tour.

Tickets for the show will go on sale Saturday at 10 a.m. and can be purchased at Henders Drugs in Estevan or online at ticketmaster.ca
