Weyburn's newest CrossFit facility, Voracity CrossFit opened for business on November 18 at 46 12th Street.

With six CrossFit Level One trainers, Voracity CrossFit holds eight classes per day ranging from beginner to advanced, fundamental classes, 50+ classes and a Mommas and Papas class where children are able to come.

"Every workout can be modified to your fitness level," said owner Jeff Chessall.

There are two types of programs Voracity CrossFit offers; one for health and fitness; and the other for sport. To be accommodating, Voracity also offers open work out times.

Voracity CrossFit is the outcome of three couples. The co-owners are Jeff and Shauna Chessall, Rhea and Andy Barber, and Kristin and Tyson Balog.

"We started working the last weekend in August and came up with this. We turned it around in 80 days," Jeff said.

What was once a church, is now a fully equipped CrossFit facility with rings, balls, weights, ropes and squat racks.

Voracity CrossFit offers a free class to new members. The introductory session allows people to find out firsthand what CrossFit is and then make the move to Foundation Classes.

These classes minimize distractions allowing the trainers to pay maximum attention to individual needs, as well as teach the fundamental CrossFit movements safely and effectively.

Voracity CrossFit is a community minded, locally owned fitness center, where everyone is welcome and treated like family.
