Town Council would like to meet with CN (Canadian National Railway) to talk to them about doing a press release or a public meeting. CN plans on putting a sweet crude transfer site at the railway tracks, but council is concerned that it's going to mean too much heavy truck traffic and concerned about the vapour (smell) and grounding of the trucks. Council would like to make sure precautions will be made so there is no chance of fire.

Don Shirley will be the town representative on the Sun Country Community Health Advisory Networks. The purpose of that network is to represent the broad interest of the community and provide feedback from the community to Sun Country. This will be taking place sometime in January.
