Assiniboia Park student Halle Wilson carefully paints a light shade of blue to the background of symbol figures of herself as a gymnast, during art in the Grade 4/5 class on Apr. 15. The students were asked to draw a figure or symbol that represents something about themselves or their personal interests, in the style of artist Andy Warhol, plus they were also learning colour theory and the use of the colour wheel in their art.
