Scott Paxman of the Weyburn Curling Rink provides the traditional shot of whiskey to piper Shantel Seitz to "pay the piper", during the opening ceremonies for the 2014 Masters Men's and Women's Provincial Curling Championship on Wednesday evening. There were six women's rinks and 12 men's rinks here from around the province for the competition, and the winning rinks will advance to the national masters curling championship.
