Saskatchewan Crime Stoppers and the Weyburn Police Service are asking for public assistance in solving the following crimes.
Police received a complaint from the local Walmart regarding a stolen television on October 2, 2013, where a suspect attempted to return a 32" RCA LED TV that he did not have a receipt for. He walked out of the store with the television which was later found to be taken from the electronics department a short time earlier.
The suspect is described as approximately 5'9" tall, short dark hair, medium build. He was wearing a dark blue zip up hoody, dark jeans and bright colored running shoes.
Police are asking the public's assistance in solving an October 26, 2013, vehicle break in. Police received report that a vehicle located at a south hill business had been broken into. A Lenovo laptop computer and internet stick were taken from the truck.
It is believed this incident may be related to several other stolen vehicles taken the same evening.
On December 3, 2013, two males, approximately 18-20 years old, entered into a local business and used rolled coin to pay for their merchandise. The coin rolls were checked after the men left the store and the wrong denomination was found inside the rolls.
The first suspect is described as approximately 5'8", stocky build, with shaggy light brown hair, wearing a dark colored hat with the initials "DC" in blue on the front. He was wearing a grey sweater and jeans.
The second suspect was wearing a dark colored jacket with camo print down the sleeves. He is approximately 5'8", stocky build with short dark hair. They drove off in a medium sized four-door dark green sedan.
