Report from the Weyburn Police Service for the week of April 15 to 21: *On April 18, police began investigating an indecent act after receiving a report of a male exposing himself in a northeast business. The investigation is ongoing.

Report from the Weyburn Police Service for the week of April 15 to 21:

*On April 18, police began investigating an indecent act after receiving a report of a male exposing himself in a northeast business. The investigation is ongoing.

*On April 17, police received a report of a vehicle striking a railroad crossing arm. The investigation resulted in a charge of driving without due care or attention being laid against the driver.

*The Weyburn Police Service began an assault investigation after a report was received of a family situation that had deteriorated into assaultive and abusive behavior by one of the young adults. The investigation is ongoing.

*Police attended to a motor vehicle accident at the corner of First Avenue and Fifth Street. An eastbound vehicle failed to stop for a red light and then struck a southbound vehicle. Damages were extensive, requiring both vehicles to be towed from the scene, though no injuries were reported. The driver of the eastbound vehicle was charged with failing to stop for the red light.

*Police attended to a northeast residence in response to a call from a resident who advised that the house had been 'trashed'. It was learned that a domestic dispute had resulted in the male damaging numerous items in the house and then leaving prior to police attendance. The mischief investigation is ongoing.

*On April 15, police received a report of a 15-year-old Weyburn youth who was reported missing from Dale's House in Regina. The subsequent investigation later located the young offender in Weyburn. He was arrested and charged with Breach of Probation and returned to the facility in Regina.

*Police received a report of a five-year-old child who had been left alone without parental care. Police attended to a northeast residence and located the child, confirming there was no adult supervision. Social Services were notified and the investigation is ongoing.
