As a result of the multi day traffic blitz, more than 50 traffic rickets were issued for multiple traffic act and bylaw offences.

*As this is the first week of school and children in their excitement do not always watch for traffic on their way to and from school, motorists are reminded to slow down in and around school zones.

The 17-year-old male driver exhibited signs of impairment and as a result of the investigation was charged with impaired driving and driving while over .08. He will be making his first court appearance in September.
