A 38-year-old man has been charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking cocaine and will appear in Provincial Court on June 3 as a result of a joint investigation.
The Weyburn Police Service Integrated Criminal Investigation Unit and the Regina RCMP Organized Crime Unit South District executed a search warrant on May 15 at a residence on the 400 block of 3rd Street.
Approximately eight ounces of cocaine with an estimated street value of roughly $20,000 and an unregistered handgun were seized.
