Update: Carlyle RCMP called to 'serious' collision on Highway 13

KISBEY - A segment of Highway 13 in southeast Saskatchewan is open again Thursday evening after an accident earlier in the day

According to the Ministry of Highways and Infrastructure's Highway Hotline, both directions of Highway 13 near the junction with Highway 605 had to be shut down. The accident scene was about one kilometre west of Kisbey. 

The STARS Air Ambulance reported Thursday morning it had been dispatched to a scene-call emergency in the Kisbey area. 

In an update e-mail at 11:12 a.m., the Saskatchewan RCMP said the Carlyle RCMP was still at the scene of the collision, which the RCMP described as "serious". Traffic was rerouted for an undetermined amount of time.

According to the Ministry of Highways and Infrastructure's Highway Hotline, the route was open again Thursday evening.
