Report from the Weyburn Police Service for the week of August 29 to September 4:

*On September 4, police were called to a local bar after a complaint of an unconscious male was received. The male had been involved in an altercation in the bar and had received minor injuries. He was transported to hospital where he was treated and released.

*Also on September 4, a female driver was issued a 30 day driving suspension after failing a roadside breath test.

*On September 3, police arrested a male for breaching his undertaking. He was lodged in cells.

*During a routine traffic stop on September 2, a vehicle was stopped. The driver was arrested and subsequently charged with driving while over .08.

*Also on September 2, a female reported that she had been assaulted at a local bar. The investigation is ongoing.

*On September 1, a male that had been staying at a residence stole a cell phone. He was charged with theft when he was found in possession of the phone.

*On August 30, police responded to a local bar regarding noise and someone breaking bottles. Several patrons were dispersed and a 24-hour suspension was issued.

*The door at a hotel was broken when a patron was given an eviction notice. The matter was settled without incident.

*The driver of a vehicle whom had run into a fence was charged with failing to notify the property owner.

*On August 29, police attended an accident on Souris Avenue. A vehicle attempting to cross Souris Avenue from one business to another collided with a second vehicle. Two passengers were transported to Hospital and released shortly after. A charge of driving without due care and attention was laid.

*A male was warned about his actions when he threatened motorists with a baseball bat. He was upset over excessive speeds on the street.
