WEYBURN – A Radville teen received the St. John Ambulance life-saving award recently for saving his younger brother last year.

Malcolm Brin, now 17, was presented the St. John Ambulance Life Saving Award by Lieutenant Governor Russ Mirasty in a ceremony at Government House.

This is what was read when Malcolm received his Life Saving Award:

“The choking incident happened on Friday, April 16th, 2021 in Radville. His little brother Lincoln, (who) was seven years old at the time, was choking.

“Malcolm acted fast, stayed calm, and saved his little brother’s life, while in the backseat of a parked truck, while employing those skills he learned from his St. John Ambulance Babysitting course.”
