Work continues to progress on the Ramada hotel development in Carlyle despite challenges created by weather.

The Ramada, along with other construction in the area, is experiencing delays caused by this year's weather. The three-story hotel was expected to be open in December of this year, but at this time is expecting an opening date sometime in the New Year.

The hotel is a 60-suite building that includes a kitchenette in every room and further addresses the accommodation shortages faced in the region as a result of the oil and gas industry. The hotel will come complete with an elevator and parking and is expected to be full of visitors to the area on a regular basis.
