The Carlyle detachment received 55 calls between June 24 and the end of the month. This report will demonstrate the variation of day-to-day activities, by listing events as they occurred in chronological order.

June 24.

A caller reported bathrooms at a Kenosee campground were being smashed, members attended and found no damage.

Quads were being driven through Arcola by riders without helmets. They were issued a warning by members.

Pellet guns were allegedly being shot in Kisbey. Members attended and found no damage.

A 911 call reported a vehicle being repeatedly driven passed the caller's home by a person who had received conditions to stay away. Since nothing criminal took place, the matter was concluded.

Two calls were received reporting vehicles "all over the road" on Highway 13. Members were unable to locate either vehicle.

A 911 call related to a two-car motor vehicle accident. There were no injuries, but a 73-year-old male was issued a $125 fine for crossing a solid line.

A 23-year-old male arrived outside the Carlyle detachment in an intoxicated state. He was lodged overnight in cells.

June 25.

Members came across an intoxicated male who said he needed no help. Fifteen minutes later the man arrived at the Carlyle detachment in an aggravated state. He was lodged in cells overnight and fined $90 for public intoxication.

An 18-year-old female left home with a young child after a domestic argument. The caller was concerned for the safety of the child since the woman was allegedly intoxicated. The matter is under investigation.

An alarm call from a business in Arcola was attended to by members. Security video showed a male entering the building through an unlocked door. He left without incident.

A 2006 Mustang GT was reported on fire near Redvers. The local fire department were unable to save the car. Members reported no suspicious circumstances.

Two callers reported a car being driven in the area with possible underage drinkers on board. Police attended but no charges were laid and the driver was sober.

A 24-year-old male was lodged in cells overnight and issued a $90 fine for public intoxication.

A 43-year-old male was found passed out in his car. He was taken home by police.

A person reported receiving a call from a distraught woman. Members investigated and traced the call to an elderly lady who had fallen and was trying to reach her son for help.

A 911 call reported an oil rig on fire following a lightning strike. The fire department contained the blaze and the matter was concluded.

June 26.

An abandoned vehicle was found near a farm in the Carlyle area. It had been previously reported as stolen.

A false alarm was triggered at a business in Carlyle. The employee had just left, there were no suspicious circumstances.

June 27.

A caller reported the presence of a suspicious vehicle parked between two boat sheds. Members investigated and found it was not stolen.

June 28.

Members rendered assistance by fingerprinting a person and forwarding the results to Ottawa to assist with a pardon application.

A false alarm was activated at a business in Carlyle. No cause was found.

A truck was reported as being driven erratically near Carlyle. The driver later said it was half loaded with water and the wind was causing the swerving.

A wallet was found and the owner was called.

A local auto dealer reported the non-return of a rental vehicle.

A caller reported a gas line breached in Carlyle. Members called SaskEnergy.

A farmer called police to report the theft of two batteries and a tow rope from his tractor in a field near Stoughton. The matter is still under investigation.

June 29.

A 911 caller reported a power line sparking near Kisbey. Members called SaskPower.

A complainant reported a man on his driveway whom he thought was intoxicated. Members attended and were unable to find either person.

A caller in Carlyle reported a truck speeding down the street. They indicated this was an ongoing problem and were willing to make a statement. The matter is under investigation.

A 911 caller reported a domestic dispute which led to the arrest of an individual, but no charges were laid.

A 911 misdial took place when an infant was playing with a phone.

June 30.

A false alarm was triggered at a business in Carlyle. No cause was discovered.

An incident of criminal harassment was reported and is under investigation.

A domestic dispute led to a missing person's complaint which is under investigation.

A break and enter was reported at a business in Carlyle, it is under investigation.

A driver reported hitting a deer on Highway 48 near Wawota.

A call was received with regard to a fire alarm at a business in Antler. The fire department attended and no further police action was required.
