Midale (cpd) - The Midale Central School is starting a "Reading and Math Club" for students in Grades 1 to 6, who are struggling with or wish to improve their math and reading skills.

The program will be at the school from 3:15 to 4 p.m. The schedule so far is as follows: Reading Club began April 8 and will be held today, April 10. Math Club will start Monday, April 15, continuing on Wednesday, April 17.

There will be a Math Carnival Night on Thursday, April 11 for the students. With the help of the School Community Council, they will be holding a carnival similar to the ones they've had in the past, with the twist being the students can't purchase tickets - they will win their tickets by answering math questions. More details to follow.

The Midale town workers and extra help have worked long hours trying to clear out as much snow as possible. Please do not move any snow off of your property into the drainage ditches and other places they have removed from. They are doing their best to try and prevent flooding.
