It's that time of year again. The Red Barn flea market is open for business. Opening July 3, the market place was packed with people shopping, mingling and taking in this year's vendors.

The flea market is open every Sunday from now until September from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. More than 60 rental spaces means that for the shopper, the product is diverse. The assortment of products varies to include food, jewellery, handmade closing and cosmetics. Canned items of jellies and jams, along with plenty of baking is enough to make anyone come back time and time again.

The outdoor/indoor stalls means that people can take in the sunshine while shopping or have shelter from the rain. The outdoor stalls provide the vendors with additional room and as a result, there are a numbers of garden and lawn ornaments, plants, and books available. And let's not forget about the fresh fruits, vegetables and meats.

Live entertainment provides a great outdoor atmosphere for those partaking in the event. The musical line-up throughout the summer season includes the stylings of K.O. & Friends, Southern Country, Steve Palmer, Susan Shepherd and Ross LeBlanc, The Leonards and Zabava.

Located five kilometers north of Kenosee on Highway 9, the flea market is a great Sunday afternoon activity for anyone and everyone. With admission fees being minimal at $1 for 13 years and older and $0.50 for children aged 7-12, the afternoon is affordable and the trip is well-worth the time.
