Last year's annual Ronald McDonald House Ride attracted riders throughout southeast Saskatchewan.

The Independent Riders are once again collecting toys for the Salvation Army in the 25th annual Santa's Toy Parade.

The parade will ride from Weyburn Junior High parking lot to Riverside Park on Saturday September 7th. Riders will meet between 12 p.m. and 1 p.m. They will then travel to Riverside Park for presentations. There is no registration fee. The Independent Riders ask that riders bring a toy to donate to the Salvation Army Christmas Fund.

Riders have another chance to ride for a cause on Sunday, September 8th in the 15th Annual Ronald McDonald House Ride.

This ride takes motorcyclists from Weyburn McDonald's to Estevan McDonald's and travels north to Stoughton via Lampman and Arcola.

Riders are to meet prior to the 1 p.m. departure time at Weyburn McDonald's for registration. The fee is $20.

Upon arrival in Stoughton at 4:30 p.m., riders will then gather for photos, door prizes and beef on a bun.

All proceeds from this ride go to the Ronald McDonald House in Saskatoon.
