Rotary Club looking for applicants for exchange

The Rotary Club of Weyburn is searching for applicants to travel to England in the fall of 2011 for four weeks. The exchange is open to those who are non-Rotarians between the ages of 25 to 40. Selected candidates will travel from Oct. 1 to Oct.



The Rotary Club of Weyburn is searching for applicants to travel to England in the fall of 2011 for four weeks. The exchange is open to those who are non-Rotarians between the ages of 25 to 40.

Selected candidates will travel from Oct. 1 to Oct. 29 as part of a Rotary Group Study Exchange for the purpose of promoting understanding and friendship. Applicants must be currently employed for at least two years in a profession or business, be in good health, have the ability to work as part of a team, act as an ambassador and not be immediately related to any members of the Rotary Club.

The team will be selected from Rotary District 5550 applicants and will be led by a Rotarian leader. Travel, accommodations (home stays) and meals are hosted while on the exchange. Team members are responsible for their passport, visa, apparel, medical and vaccination costs. They will be required to attend a two-day orientation session prior to the travel.
