There are 351 new cases of COVID-19 to report in Saskatchewan on Nov. 29, bringing the provincial total to date to 8,239 cases.
Eighteen of the new cases are in the southeast region. One case is in Southeast Zone 4, which includes Estevan. One case is in Zone 2, to the north of Zone 4, and 16 are in Zone 1, to the northwest of Zone 4.
There are 18 active cases in Zone 4, and 165 active cases in the southeast. Most of the active cases (124) are in Zone 1.
Six more people in the region have recovered, bringing the total number of recoveries for the southeast to 107. None of the new recoveries are from Zone 4.
There have been 273 cases of COVID-19 diagnosed in the southeast since mid-March.
A total of 310 tests were administered on Saturday, bringing the total for the region to 18,536.
As for the rest of the province, the new cases are located in the far northwest (10), far north central (1), far northeast (8), northwest (28), north central (10), northeast (12), Saskatoon (94), central west (2), central east (15), Regina (120), southwest (19) and southcentral (10). Four new cases have pending case information.
The seven-day average of daily new cases is 250 (20.6 new cases per 100,000 population).
Of the 8,239 reported cases, 3,605, or about 43.8 per cent, are considered active.
Sixty-eight people have recovered, bringing the total number of recoveries to 4,589, or 55.7 per cent of those diagnosed.
One-hundred and fifteen people are in hospital. Ninety-two people are receiving inpatient care; one in the far northwest, eight in the northwest, eight in the north central, two in the northeast, 32 in Saskatoon, one in the central east, 21 in Regina, one in the south central and 18 in the southeast zone.
Twenty-three people are in intensive care: one in the northwest, two in the north central, 13 in Saskatoon, six in Regina and one in the southwest zone.
Forty-five deaths related to COVID-19 have been reported to date.
A total of 3,826 COVID-19 tests were processed in Saskatchewan on Saturday.
