Midale students Keely Toles and Taylor Hoium show the life-saving pack they made to go with an app that can be downloaded onto a computer or smart-phone, at the Southeast Regional Fair. The app goes with a first-aid box with four different packs, and in an emergency a person picks the applicable pack; they include breaks or strains; cuts; insect or animal bites; and burns, ranging from first to third-degree burns. The Grade 12 students were entered in the senior life science category at the science fair, hosted by Midale Central School on Thursday.
