This past two weeks Stoughton school Band, Miranda Campbell, Austin Cameron, Madison Campbell, Shannon Belanger, Rhett Folk, Evan Laforet, Lorne Mitchell, Samantha Belanger, Declan Cameron, and Kaylee Bjarneson and the band teacher Kevin Dyck took a band trip to Edmonton! They had fun with joining other towns such as Arcola, Carlyle, and Stoughton, and his Carol Dycks band Redverse, Manor, and Wawota. The Band had a successful band trip as they went to the University of Alberta for sectionals and a full band workshop to practice for the concert they played in West Edmonton mall! We had more people than we expected to come especially when it was at 10:00am on a Monday when everyone's at work and kids are at school. It was a long, fun, and tiring weekend but the students had a lot of fun! Hope to see everyone on the next band trip!

The Sr. Boys Basketball team did very well but lost out in the Regional Final. They won their first game Friday night but unfortunately Saturday came up short. Great job Dogs! See you next season!

Ms. Wyatt and Ms. Kaz would like to thank all of the parents who dedicated many hours coming out to watch and support the team this year. It was greatly appreciated and the season wouldn't have been possible without you.

Well some things just never seem to quit in Stoughton Central School, as Badminton has started up! Students of SCS will be going to Estevan for a tournament real quick, so this will be a busy month! In the world of SRC Monday will be Pajama Day so wear your comfy gear to school to support school spirit!

On May 17th the Stoughton School Drama club will be presenting their play called "Café Murder", as main character Rosemary has a dinner party on her birthday with her sisters, but something goes terribly long, can the mystery be solved, will it be solved? Find out on that night at the Stoughton Central school Gym!

If you have any questions about what is going on at the school please contact Carlee Wyatt at 457-2533 or carlee.wyatt@cornerstonesd.ca
