Systems at work; Biology 30 holds symposium

The Weyburn Comprehensive Schoold Biology 30 classes will be holding a Health and Anatomy Symposium open to the public on Tuesday, May 27 with displays on various organs and systems. The public may view displays from 9:20 a.m. to 1 p.m.

The Weyburn Comprehensive Schoold Biology 30 classes will be holding a Health and Anatomy Symposium open to the public on Tuesday, May 27 with displays on various organs and systems.

The public may view displays from 9:20 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the new commons area of the Cugnet Centre.

"The focus will be on organs and body systems, how to keep them healthy and how they function together," said teacher Karen Kennedy-Allin.

The organ systems on display will include muscles, skeleton, neurons and spinal cord, eyes and nose, ears and mouth, heart, brain, lungs, skin, kidney, liver, pancreas, blood, stomach and intestines.

"It will be an educational and interactive experience for all ages," she said.
