It's officially summer once again and in southeast Saskatchewan that also means The Red Barn Flea Market is open for business. Opening July 1, the market had a full summer of events planned.

The Flea Market is open every Sunday from now until September 2 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. This Flea Market offers something for everyone. With the large number of diverse vendors, antiques & collectibles, fresh fruit and vegetables, honey, homemade baking, crafts, concessions, woodworking and much more are for sale.

Live entertainment is provided each week as visitors take in the great outdoor atmosphere of the event on sunny days. The musical line-up throughout the summer season includes the stylings of K.O. & Friends, which opened up the season at the July 1 kick-off and will be followed by many acts including Susan Shepherd & Ross LeBlanc, Southern Country and The Old Country Lads.

Luckily the event has indoor/ outdoors stalls and is prepared for all the rainy days. And the good news is you don't have to save your pennies for too long to attend. Entrance is only a dollar for adults, 50 cents for youth between seven and twelve and free for any kids under six.

Don't forget to bring your kids along on Aug. 26 for a day of bouncy castles, face painting, a treasure box and much more!

For those interested in attending and a day of shopping, the Red Barn Market is located just a short five kilometers north of Kenosee on Highway 9. The day is sure to please any crowd.
