Laurae Rossow gets ready to try playing the saxophone for the first time as Fallon Hantelman-Stewart holds it for her. Rossow and other Grade 6 students at Haig Elementary School met in the gym on June 11 to try different instruments and see which instruments they had the most aptitude for. Students were allowed to try two woodwind and two brass instruments before deciding which they would most like to play when they go to the junior high next year.
