Two men arrested, one still on the loose after kidnapping

Warrant issued for 24-year-old man from Alberta involved with kidnappings


Two men were arrested on June 23 at around 5 p.m. in the southeast corner of Estevan, after a 911 phone call was received byEstevan police, while a warrant has been issued for a third suspect.

Nineteen-year-old Cyrus Ackrill, was charged with kidnapping, uttering death threats to cause death, forcible confinement, kidnapping for the benefit of a criminal organization, and breach of probation order.

Twenty-three-year-old Daniel Lowenberg, also from Estevan, was charged with kidnapping, uttering death threats to cause death, forcible confinement, kidnapping for the benefit of a criminal organization, production of marijuana, and breach of an undertaking.

A warrant has been issued for the arrest of Kolby Iezzi, a 24-year-old male from St. Albert, Alta. He is charged with uttering death threats to cause death, kidnapping, and kidnapping at the direction of a criminal organization.
