The travel not recommended advisories for the Estevan area have been lifted.

The Ministry of Highways and Infrastructure issued the advisories Thursday due to conditions in the area.

Some highways in the area now report that winter conditions exist, while others are classified as having seasonal driving conditions, according to the Highway Hotline.

Travel is not recommended on Highway 39 from Yellow Grass to the junction with Highway 6; and a portion of Highway 6 north and south of the junction with Highway 39.

The extreme cold warning and the blowing snow advisory for the Estevan, Weyburn and Carlyle areas have been lifted.
