Carlyle Pentecostal Assembly's Vacation Bible School program will be held Monday, Aug. 27 through Friday, Aug. 31, from time 1 p.m. until 3 p.m.Vacation Bible School is a Christian tradition for many congregations. Hundreds of Christian churches throughout the world open their doors every summer to embrace a children filled week. The goal is not only to learn about religion but to also have fun and meet new friends.Each day will consist of Bible stories, lively music, games, fun snacks, and keepsake crafts. This year's theme is the imagination station, and will aid children in discovering their creativity"The Vacation Bible School program has been going on at Carlyle Pentecostal Assembly for about five years," said Robin Brownlee, the director of this year's program. "Everyone is extremely excited to end the summer together"Registration will be accepted right up until the Vacation Bible School begins. VBS is open to all children ages three through twelve.
