Walk for MS raises over $1,600 in Ceylon

A group of Ceylon area residents participated in a Walk for MS on Sunday, organized by Chelsey Lillejord, who has multiple sclerosis.

A group of Ceylon area residents participated in a Walk for MS on Sunday, organized by Chelsey Lillejord, who has multiple sclerosis.

As of Monday, the event raised $1,654 for the MS Society, and a link has been set up so donations can still be made for the cause.

Both Lillejord and her mother, Daphne Heinen, live with MS, and have been doing an MS Walk in Regina the last few years.

They were unable to do one this year due to COVID-19 regulations, so a smaller walk was organized in the village of Ceylon, with the hopes to make it an annual event.
