Twelve student leaders and four advisors returned from an experience of a lifetime in Montague, P.E.I. on September 22. Over 700 students and 200 advisors attended the Canadian Student Leadership Conference similar to the one hosted last year here in Weyburn and they continued to get raves about the fabulous conference Weyburn held. All students should have the opportunity to attend this week filled with motivational speakers, workshops and a lot of learning, not only about leadership, but about our very diverse country. Next year's will be held in Kelowna, B.C. and they will be celebrating the 30th anniversary of this conference started by Yorkton Regional High School in 1984.

Reminder there is no school on Monday, September 30 as teachers are in professional development seminars.

The girls soccer team is playing Vanier on Tuesday, October 1 at Jubilee Park at 4:15 p.m. and the Southeast District cross-country championship is on Wednesday, October 2.
