Carlyle RCMP received 63 calls between Sept. 9 and 15. Here's how the calls lined up in the police files at the detachment.

A false alarm was investigated at a business in Carlyle. The cause was the area-wide power outage.

A suspicious vehicle was reported in the vicinity of Wawota school during school hours. Members attended but the white minivan was no longer in the area upon their arrival.

A caller requested police to pick up and destroy his registered handgun. He was going on vacation and did not want a useable weapon left in his empty house while he was away.

A 911 call reported a fight between seven or eight individuals at a local pub. When members arrived the fight was over and the combatants had left. The bar owner did not wish to press charges.

A complaint was received regarding an unwanted person at a residence in the area. Members attended and found the person had left prior to their arrival. No charges were laid.

A false alarm was set off at a residence in Arcola after a person accidently triggered the panic button.

A driver complained of an incident involving two quads. While trying to avoid one quad driving on one side of the road, the driver nearly hit a second quad on the other side of the road. After stopping to talk with the quad riders, the driver was jumped on by the riders. Although no medical attention was required for the driver, the police are investigating the incident.

A woman called police and told them she was following a truck towing a fifth wheel that was "all over the road." Members patrolled and pulled over the truck. The driver was tired, and continued on to Carlyle where he decided to call it a night and have a sleep. No charges were laid.

A "gas and dash" was reported from a local garage. Members contacted the owner of the vehicle and he returned to pay for the gas, explaining he'd simply forgotten to do so. No charges are being laid.

A traffic stop near Carlyle, resulted in a 22-year-old male being given a 24-hour driving suspension.

Regina police requested Carlyle RCMP to check on a person in the area. Regina police had been told the individual might be ill, but upon investigation, the person was fine.

A caller reported receiving threatening text messages on their phone. Additionally they said a TV was missing, following a break and enter to their residence. Investigation led to the charging of a 14-year-old male with uttering threats and theft.

The loss of a Blackberry at Kenosee Lake was reported for insurance purposes.

A driver reported colliding with a deer in the area. There was extensive front-end damage and the vehicle was not drivable.

A 911 caller from Carlyle requested police to remove an unwanted individual from their residence. By the time police responded the individual had already left.

A female caller told the 911 operator she needed police, and then the call was disconnected. Police followed up and located the intoxicated caller, who complained that she had been kicked. An ambulance was called and the complainant was taken to hospital. No charges have been laid by the victim.

Police received a call regarding a senior who had been missing since the previous day, along with their vehicle. All local detachments were alerted to the situation and local hospitals were checked. The vehicle was found in a ditch near Redvers the following day. The senior was transported to hospital, and police indicate there were no suspicious circumstances.

A traffic stop near Manor led to the charging of a 26-year-old male on counts of driving while over the limit, and having open alcohol in the vehicle.

A 911 hang-up call turned out to be a misdial when the caller was trying to dial *99.

A 911 call was received from a lodging establishment in Arcola. The caller was trying to evict a tenant and the tenant was becoming verbally abusive and increasingly angry. Members attended and advised them to contact bodies that issue advice to renters and landlords.

A hit and run was reported after a fire hydrant was damaged in the resort area.

A possibly-impaired driver was reported in the Moose Mountain Provincial Park. Members made patrols but did not locate the vehicle.

A false alarm was investigated at a school in the area.

Police were called upon to mediate a dispute concerning house ownership in the area. The matter is ongoing.

A hit and run was reported after damage was discovered to the rear of a vehicle. A report was made for insurance purposes.

Two 911 calls were received from a motel in Arcola. Both calls were the result of misdial.

A suspicious person was reported alongside highway 48 and the 711 grid road. Members did not locate the person, who might have been hitch-hiking.

A false alarm was triggered at a residence in Carlyle.

A 911 call was transferred by accident to Carlyle RCMP, who then transferred the caller to the Estevan detachment.

Police assisted Manitoba Justice by serving documents to an individual in Carlyle.

A complaint was received from the area when a person was caught removing choke cherries from the complainant's land. The subject was confronted, after which a fight broke out. The matter is under investigation.

An assault complaint in Arcola is being investigated.

A complaint of harassment was received from Carlyle and is being investigated.

A suspicious male reportedly hanging around the vicinity of the school in Redvers. Investigations are in progress.

A motor was stolen from a boat in Carlyle. Police are investigating the incident.

A driver complained that another driver had uttered threats to them while driving by. Investigations continue.

A caller told police she had received a suspicious text message from persons unknown. Police are investigating.

The theft of a dog was reported from a farm near Kisbey. Police are investigating.

Police are reviewing the video of a shoplifting from a business in Carlyle.

An abandoned truck was reported on a gravel road near Carlyle. Investigations continue.

A break and enter was reported at a residence in Kenosee Lake. The gas tank of a truck was punctured and fuel was taken, but no other items were stolen. Investigations are in progress on this incident.
