The Carlyle detachment of the RCMP received 128 calls of service between Thursday, May 15 and Friday, May 23. 911 A call was received from the local area reporting possible impaired drivers.

The Carlyle detachment of the RCMP received 128 calls of service between Thursday, May 15 and Friday, May 23.

A call was received from the local area reporting possible impaired drivers. No details were received due to a bad connection and the vehicles were not located.

The detachment received a call regarding a sewer back up in Redvers. The complainant was referred to the town.

In the local area, there was report of individuals uttering threats. Members attended but no threats were established and there was no evidence of any offense.

Abandoned Vehicle

There was a report of an abandoned vehicle near Redvers. The registered owner of the vehicle was contacted and it was removed.

False Alarm

In Arcola there was a report of a false alarm at a residence.A false alarm was reported in Carlyle at GF Kells high school. There was also another report from a business in the area. Assistance

The Carlyle detachment assisted the Regina police in the execution of a warrant within the area.In Redvers there were two requests for assistance to check on someone in the area. Checks were made and the individual was found to be in good health.The Carlyle detachment assisted EMS with an intoxicated individual in Kenossee Lake who was resisting assistance. In the local area there was a request to locate an individual. Checks were made and the individual was found.The detachment assisted with a mental health issue in the local area. There was a report of an individual lost and driving under medication. The individual was located and all was normal

Breach of the Peace

In Moose Mountain Provincial Park there was a complaint of breach of the peace involving an intoxicated individual yelling and screaming.There was also a reported breach of the peace in the local area. The individual was arrested and released after becoming sober. Another breach of the peace occurred at Kenossee Lake and three individuals were charged, arrested and kept overnight.

Break and Enter

A break and enter occurred in Redvers but the complainant did not want to lay any charges.

Sudden Death

A sudden death occurred at the Moose Mountain Provincial Park. There was nothing suspicious however the occupational health and safety are currently investigating.

Collision

A two vehicle collision occurred at Redvers involving a semi and a truck, there were no injuries. A single vehicle collision occurred near Kennedy where a tractor was towing a tanker and the wagon flipped, there were no injuries.

Fire

There were two reports of grass fires near Forget, one was a controlled burn and the other was attended by the fire department. There was another grass fire in the local area which was also attended by the fire department.

Impaired Driving

In Kenosse Lake there was a report of a possible impaired driver. Checks were made but the vehicle was not located. Another report was received of a possible impaired driver and checks were also made but the vehicle was not located.

An impaired driver was located and charged in Kenossee Lake. There was a report of a possible impaired in the local area, the vehicle was located but it was vehicle was parked and the driver not located.

Traffic Infractions

Fifty-three traffic tickets were also issued over the weekend, all involved speeding, stop signs and seat belt laws.

TheftA case of theft occurred in Carlyle where tools were taken from a shop while gravel was taken from the rail line near Manor. No charges were laid.There was a report of theft of gas in Arcola. The matter is under investigation.

Drugs

A 17-year-old male and 18-year-old in the Moose Mountain Provincial Park area were male were charged for possession of drugs. There was also a similar case in the local area which is still under investigation. Four individuals trafficking cocaine were charged, two 19-year-old males, a 17-year-old male and an 18-year-old female.

Other CallsOver the May long weekend 18 liquor tickets were issued to individuals. There were six reports of mischief within the area over the weekend and all were regarding intoxicated individuals causing problems. A 61-year old male was charged for driving while disqualified and is set to make a court appearance.A 22-year-old female was charged for failing to attend court.A 37-year-old female was charged for having liquor in a public place. A 16-year-old male was charged for breach of probation. In Carlyle an individual reported the loss of an i-Phone 5.There were complaints of erratic driving near Redvers and also in the local area.A youth was charged with breach of probation in the local area.In Carlyle there have been complaints of dogs in the area. The matter is under investigation.

There was a report of a possible arson in the local area. The case is currently under investigation.There was a report of harassing text messages from an individual in Carlyle. No charges were laid.In Carlyle there was a report of a disturbance with an individual yelling. Checks were made and it was found to be normal there was nothing criminal occurring and no form of threats.

There was a report of a fight at Moose Mountain Provincial Park. Checks were made and all was found to be normal.

In Manor there was a report of a possible assault. The matter is under investigation.
