Between the 23rd and 29th of Nov., the RCMP detachment in Carlyle received at total of 35 calls. Cases involving mental health issues, child welfare or other undisclosed matters will not be reported.

Nov. 23: The RCMP responded to a false alarm at a business in Carlyle.

Members responded to a 9-11 call from a residence in Manor. When RCMP arrived, the subject of the complaint had left voluntarily and no further police actions were required.

Members arrested a 50-year-old male with an outstanding Regina Police warrant. The subject was processed at the Carlyle RCMP detachment and released to attend Regina court.

Nov. 24: The RCMP received a complaint of an impaired driver passed-out in a ditch outside of Carlyle. Members attended the scene and arrested the subject of the complaint. There was insufficient evidence that the subject was driving while under the influence and no charges were laid; the subject was, however, lodged in cells until sober.

Members received a complaint of harassing phone calls in the area. RCMP spoke with the subject of the complaint and the matter was resolved without any charges being laid.

Members received a complaint of a rollover collision on Highway 13 near Arcola. Icy road conditions were a factor, no injuries were reported and the vehicle was towed from the scene.

Members received a complaint of a hit-and-run vehicle collision in Arcola. A suspect has been indentified and charges are pending.

Members received a complaint of an unwanted person at a residence in Carlyle. The subject of the complaint left before RCMP arrived and no charges are expected to be laid.

Members received a complaint of a hit-and-run vehicle collision at Kenosee Lake. RCMP attended the scene, located the suspect and charges are pending.

Members responded to a single motor vehicle collision on Highway 13 west of Redvers. The vehicle struck a power pole and SaskPower had to attend the scene. The accident is still under investigation.

Nov. 25: A single motor vehicle collision was reported to RCMP by a passer-by on Highway 9 north of Carlyle. Icy road conditions were a factor and no serious injuries were reported.

Members received a 9-11 misdial from a residence in the Carlyle area.

Nov. 26: Members received a fraud complaint from a business in Redvers. A suspect has been indentified and charges are pending.

Nov. 27: Members received a complaint of a motor vehicle collision with a deer on Highway 13 near Arcola. The driver was uninjured.

Members received a complaint of uttering threats.

Members received a fraud complaint from a Wawota resident. Allegedly, the complainant's bank card had been used overseas for fraudulent purchases. The matter is still under investigation.

Nov. 28: At 7:30 a.m., RCMP responded to a collision on Highway 13 at Arcola involving five heavy equipment vehicles. The initial cause of the accident was a flat deck trailer being unhooked from its power unit. Due in part to fog and icy road conditions, two approaching vehicles struck the trailer; subsequently, two additional vehicles struck each other while trying to avoid the prior collision. Ambulance services and the Carlyle Fire Department attended the scene and no injuries were reported. The incident is still under investigation.

Members responded to a collision involving two passenger vehicles between Arcola and Carlyle. Emergency Medical Services also attended the scene and passengers were taken to the Arcola Health Centre. No significant injuries were reported. The incident is still under investigation.

Members received a 9-11 hang-up call from a location in Redvers. RCMP confirmed that it was not an emergency and no further police actions were required.

Members received a complaint of an erratic driver in the Carlyle area. Members attended the area and conducted stop checks but were unable to locate the vehicle.

The RCMP, Carlyle Fire Department and Emergency Medical Services responded to a cabin fire at the White Bear Resort. Although the cabin was being lived-in at the time, no injuries were reported and the incident is still under investigation. There is no indication that the fire was suspicious.

Nov. 29: RCMP received a 9-11 hang-up call from a residence in Arcola. Members determined that it was not an emergency and no further police actions were required.

Members received a complaint of a hit-and-run involving a parked vehicle outside a Carlyle business. The matter is still under investigation.
