The Carlyle RCMP received 46 calls between Friday Nov. 15 and Thursday, Nov. 21.

False Alarms

In Carlyle there was a report of an insecure business when the door of the establishment was found open. The owners were contacted by the RCMP. In the local area there were reports of a false alarm to a residence which was set off by one of the key holders.

In Manor a false alarm occurred to a residence when the smoke alarm went off. The fire department attended however the cause is unknown. Near Arcola, there were reports of a fire arm. The matter is still under investigation. There were also reports of a false alarm in Arcola.

Assault

Two people in the local area were charged with assault, a 34-year-old-male and 25-year-old-female. A case of assault took place near Carlyle and is currently under investigation.

Assistance to the public

Assistance was provided to the probation service in delivering documents in the local area. The Arcola Heath Centre was assisted in dealing with a mental health patient. An intoxicated female was assisted back to her hotel in Carlyle. RCMP members assisted with a mental health patient in the local area.

Hit and Run

In Carlyle a hit and run occurred and a white Dodge Journey was damaged. In Kenosee Lake, a silver GMC Sierra sustained damages due to a hit and run.

Abandoned Vehicle

In Carlyle on Hwy 13 there were reports of an abandoned vehicle. The owner was contacted and the vehicle was removed.

In the local area RCMP members located a vehicle that was parked on the side of the road. The matter is still under investigation.

Theft

In Kisbey there were reports of theft of a wire holder which was taken from the back of truck.

In Arcola there was a report of theft of gas. The suspect was identified and the matter is currently under investigation. There was a case of theft of property from a residence in Carlyle. The tenants moved and took the washer and dryer.

In the local area a truck was stolen. The case is still under investigation.

Traffic Collision A collision occurred near Redvers a 60-year-old male was charged as result of failing to stop at a stop sign. Both drivers were injured and were taken to the Oxbow hospital. In Kenosee Lake a traffic collision was reported. There was a report of a deer accident that occurred near Lampman.

Other Complaints

There was a noise complaint in Redvers. The matter is still under investigation. In Redvers there was a report concerning a senior who had his license suspended is still driving every day.

There were reports of a male driving an unregistered vehicle in the local area. Checks were made but he was not located. There was a family dispute where children were threatened to be kicked out of the home. In Forget a grain bin was found to be on fire, Stoughton fire department attended and extinguished the fire. Nothing suspicious found. In Carlyle there were reports of guns shot but is was discovered to be fire crackers. In Redvers there were reports of harassing text messages but it was determined the messages were not threatening.
