911 Calls

The Carlyle Detachment of the RCMP received 50 calls during the week of Sept. 20 to Sept 26.

There was a report of an intoxicated male at a bar in Carlyle bothering a server.

A golf cart was recovered; it was reported stolen the week earlier; however it was returned to the owner.The final 911 call was a static call due to the weatherFalse Alarms

There was a false alarm at a business in Redvers, the cause was unknow but upon check the location was secure. There was another false alarm in the local area but there is nothing to note as all was normal.

Animal Calls

On Hwy 9 near Wawota, there were cattle near the highway, owner was contacted and he rounded up the cattle.

Assault

There was a report of assault involving an intoxicated youth in the local area, checks were made and assistance was provided handling the youth.

Break and EnterIn Wawota there was a break-in to three business places, the matter is still under investigation.

There was a report of harassing phone calls in Wawota; this is an ongoing issue, and is still being dealt with by the detachment.

Disturbing the Peace

In Wawota there were complaints of disturbing the peace, an individual screaming at another individual and alcohol was involved.

In the local area, there was a case of another disturbing the peace that involved yelling and screaming in front of children.

Hit and Run

A Chevy Silverado pick-up was damaged in a hit and run in Wawota.There was a hit and run in Carlyle where a Buick Enclave was struck.

Fraud

In Carlyle there was report of phone call from an individual posing as a grandson said to be in Mexico City in need of $15,000 which should be wired.

Complaint of harassing phone calls in Arcola, no charges were laid.

Intoxication

In the local area there reports of an intoxicated individual walking on the road, the complainant feared for their safety on the road.There was another report of intoxication in the local area involving a female yelling and screaming. She left when the police arrived.

Mischief

In Redvers there was a case of an individual threatening to damage property; assistance was provided in getting the property back.

In the local area there was mischief involving a young female damaging property.There was also report of damage to a tractor in the field in the local area; windshield and lights were broken, as well as fuel taken. The matter is still under investigation.

Speeding

On hwy 13 near Kisbey a 19 year-old male was charged $198.On hwy 9, near Moose Mountain Provincial Park a 24-year old- female was charged $186.

In Redvers on hwy 13 a 19-year-old-male was charged $139.In Manor on hwy 13 a 22-year-old male was charged $140.

Theft In Redvers theft of gas suspect returned and paid for the gas.Report of theft from the cabin in the local area, clothing gas, and recyclables were taken. In Carlyle there was a report of theft of tires.

CollisionsOn hwy 13 near Carlyle there traffic collision at Co-op parking lot.

Other Calls

In the local area there was complaint of almost being struck by a vehicle. The matter is still under investigation.There was a request to locate someone in the local area and the individual was found to be at work.

A five year-old-girl was missing for an hour and half, she was however located.

There was a case of allegations regarding sexual interference in Redvers. The matter is currently under investigation.

There was a report of quads racing around on a canola field. They were located and found to be hunters traveling on trails.

Report of individual not buckling their 2 year-old son. They were observed by the RCMP and given a ticket

In Wawota there were reports of vehicles driving through construction zones, as well as a report of vehicles passing on a double solid line in the local area near Hwy 9.

In Arcola there were reports of vehicles driving all over the road. The driver was located and spoken to and found to be sober.
