This weekend the two senior basketball teams will be off to Regionals to determine teams for the 2012 Hoopla. Last weekend marked the commencement of provincial wrestling and congratulations go out to our wrestlers and coaches who have had a good year. Once basketball is over the only sports left for the year will be badminton and track.
On March 19 and 21, the school will be hosting its spring 3-way conferencing, which is a compulsory event allowing students, parents and SAS teachers to meet to discuss the progress of the student. Interview times have been set-up for all students and it is imperative that parents and students attend these very important meetings.
There will be a public performance by hypnotist Wayne Lee on March 20th starting at 7:30. Advance tickets for $10 can be purchased at the school. Tickets at the door cost $12.
The school will be hosting the 2012 Weyburn Rotary Music Festival "Stars of the Festival" on March 21 at 7:00 p.m.
Anyone who has a suggestion for a new name for the completed facility should drop it off at the school office. Make sure you include your name, address and telephone number, as there will be a prize. Deadline is March 30th.
