This weekend the senior volleyball teams will be involved in regional plays and it is that time of the year when they must qualify every weekend to advance to the provincial finals. The girls are the defending provincial champions and every team will be "gunning" to unseat them. The boys are in Yorkton and the girls in Moose Jaw and they will be competing against Swift Current, Yorkton, Estevan, Balgonie and three schools from Moose Jaw - Vanier, Peacock and Central.
Upcoming events at WCS include a fundraiser for the Triple C Center when the Weyburn Rotary Club sponsors Saskatoon's Trap Door Theater's presentation of "Vimy" on November 19.
There is also the annual SRC Fowl Supper on November 29.
